New Jersey Car Crash: 4-Year-Old Struck by Automobile
A young child in New Jersey is in critical condition after being struck by an automobile. This car crash occurred in Madison on Nov. 19. Police are still looking for the driver responsible.
At around 5:30 p.m., a 4-year-old boy was hit by a car while he was crossing the street with two other people. It is believed that the child was the only one hurt in the incident. He was transported to Morristown Medical Center for treatment. The extent of his injuries has not been reported.
The road on which this incident occurred was closed for several hours as investigators worked the scene.The driver responsible for this accident is said to have fled immediately following the collision. Authorities believe this individual was driving a relatively new white Subaru. They are asking anyone with information about this incident to please contact them as soon as possible.
Accidents involving children are particularly difficult for families, as it is hard to see these helpless little ones suffer. Sadly, the consequences of accidents such as this one can affect the victim for life. This child is likely to have a difficult recovery in front of him, with no guarantee of full function in the future.
