Single Vehicle Car Crash in New Jersey Kills 1, Injures 1

A single-vehicle accident in New Jersey is currently being investigated by authorities. The car crash occurred in Mannington Township in the early morning hours of June 5. For reasons unknown, the driver of the vehicle is believed to have driven the car off the road and struck a utility pole.

Police responded to this accident, which occurred on Pointers Auburn Road and Route 540, at around 2:09 a.m.. Upon their arrival, they found a 29-year-old male that had been thrown from the car. This individual was pronounced dead at the accident site. No further information was provided about the victim as family notification is pending.

The driver of the vehicle was injured in the wreck. He was transported to a nearby hospital for the treatment of unspecified injuries. His current condition is unknown. At this time, authorities have not indicated if any charges will be filed against this individual.
