Drugs May Have Caused a Recent Car Crash

The driver of a Honda Pilot reportedly suffered a drug overdose and lost control of his vehicle. He collided with another car that was driven by a man traveling with his son. One vehicle reportedly rolled and looked like it caught fire. That vehicle ended up coming to rest in a gas station after hitting and killing a gas station attendant.

The father and son were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver who may have caused the accident was revived with a dose of narcan and was taken to St. Joseph’s Medical Center. His condition was unknown but he is expected to survive. The accident is being investigated by the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
