Construction Worker Suffers Work Injury on New Jersey Expressway

Accidents on the job could happen any number of ways. According to officials, the man was working with crews from the South Jersey Transportation Authority when the accident occurred. The workers were attempting to change a road sign located on the Atlantic City Expressway. During the process of changing it, the sign fell. It then landed in the westbound lanes and caused injury to the worker.

It is currently unclear what caused the sign to fall. The injured worker was taken to an area hospital for treatment. According to authorities, the man’s injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. Reports do not indicate that any other workers were harmed in the incident. It is unknown whether any further investigation will be made into this accident.
