2 Injured in New Jersey Car Crash

Police in New Jersey are investigating the cause of an accident that left two people injured. This car crash occurred in West Windsor on Wednesday, Jan. 25. Any witnesses to this incident are being asked to call the authorities.

According to reports, at around 10:20 p.m., the driver of a Toyota SUV sideswiped two vehicles while going northbound on Route 1, near Carnegie Center Boulevard. After striking these two cars, the SUV then crossed the centerline and struck another automobile in the southbound lane. The occupants of the first two vehicles impacted were uninjured, but the driver of the southbound car was hurt and transported to an area hospital for treatment. This individual’s current condition is unknown.

This accident resulted in a road closure for about five hours while authorities investigated and cleared the scene. The driver believed responsible for this incident was also injured and required medical treatment. At this time, it is unknown if any criminal charges are pending against this individual.

The victim of this car crash may be entitled to seek compensation for his or her losses. These may be economic or non-economic in nature — such as medical expenses, lost wages and pain and suffering, among others. To do this, this person will have to file a personal injury claim in a New Jersey civil court with the assistance of legal counsel.
